bbc news, nairobi. time for a look at the weather. here s darren bett. hello, the good news is that the rain in northern ireland has eased. but in 2a hours, there were three inches of rain in county down which led to the flooding. it looks likely that northern ireland will miss the worst of the rain from storm ciaran as it arrives in time for thursday. but with rain elsewhere, saturated ground, further flooding and the damaging winds are likely to be in the far south. there is an amber wind warning from the met office, i will show you that later. but the details are not nailed down yet because the storm has not developed, it will develop from this cloud which is the other side of the atlantic. ahead of that, this cloud is going to bring rain into the far south west to spoil hallowe en. we have still got a little bit of rain in northern ireland and northern england, but it is easing, still a lot of cloud keeping it on the chilly side. we follow that rain in the south wes ....
