UK's Supplier Diversity Program strives to help minority-owned businesses
The idea of supplier diversity began in 1969 after President Richard Nixon signed Executive Order 11458, creating the Office of Minority Business Enterprise. UK's own Supplier Diversity Program, led by Marilyn Clark, strives to be intentional, sustainable, replicable and most importantly positive impact the minority-owned, women-owned and other underrepresented businesses it serves.

Construction Diversity Accelerator program back for 2nd year, now accepting applications
The CDA program, which began last year, is a 10-week program "designed to give minority-owned, women-owned and other underrepresented construction-related businesses the skills and tools needed to be competitive in the construction industry."

UK Hosts Construction Diversity Accelerator Program
The University of Kentucky, in partnership with Turner Construction, will be hosting its inaugural Construction Diversity Accelerator program, in person for the 2022 season. Classes will be held in the Gatton Student Center beginning March 8.
