Mexico and heading to washington state. So many people got injured that the chp has had a difficult time trying to interview them all to try to find out exactly why the bus plowed into that pole. It took just over an hour for the First Responders to get out the passengers. The bus was split in half by a 30 foot pole that pep traited half way down the middle. A few passengers got out and found walking along the highway shoulder. 17 passengers were taken to hospitals and six of them by med evam hospitals. The bus driver was unable to tell chp what had happened. He wasnt able to give a statement ...
