Mark Primack | A time and place for tall buildings
"Ask me if I’d rather live in an apartment on the second or 10th floor of a building and I’ll tell you I prefer my own home and garden, thank you very much," writes columnist Mark Primack. "But then I’d want to know what street and which block that building is on. If traffic is light and trees abound, I’d be happy on the first. If it’s Mission, Soquel or Water, put me on the 10th. One button on an elevator is as good as the next, and I’d be happier living above the noise and the rubberneckers."
