Jamaicans celebrate Biden's appointment of Kristen Clarke to US DOJ
Kristen Clarke (Facebook) Jamaicans are continuing to celebrate the news that another person with Jamaican heritage has been selected for a top-level position in the United States government President-elect, Joe Biden. In a national television address on Thursday, Biden named Kristen Clarke, a daughter of Jamaican immigrants, who grew up in Brooklyn, New York, as Assistant Attorney General for civil rights in the US Department of Justice (DOJ).
