Dry conditions intensified in Iowa as temperatures soared over the last week.

Relative to other top corn growing states, drought is not much of an issue for most farmers in Indiana. In fact, some parts of the state have reported flooding.

More than 5 inches of rain have fallen in southern Illinois over the last 10 days, but the farmers who need it most haven’t seen a drop.

Most of the state has yet to record precipitation this month.
