Some were worried it is a potential Public Safety issues. Csx shut down nine different crossings in apex and cary. Company is making improvements to the tracks and crossings. Residents say the closings had caused unnecessary gridlock. Residents in one neighborhood say they were trapped for two days. We talked to a csx spokesperson today.
