Colorado Eagles GM, Former Coach Chris Stewart Retires

Colorado Eagles GM, Former Coach Chris Stewart Retires
After nearly two decades with the Colorado Eagles, Chris Stewart is retiring.
The franchise's first head coach has been most recently serving as the Loveland-based pro hockey team's President and General Manager.
Stewart spent 37 total years as a hockey coach/front office member.
Stewart's first tenure as Eagles coach from 2003 to 2008 resulted in a pair of Central Hockey League titles in 2005 and 2007. Stewart later returned to the Eagles bench in 2010 and spent a total of 11 season as head coach — making the playoffs in each season.
“One of the greatest honors of my life is to be associated with the Colorado Eagles and this fantastic gentleman,” said Eagles owner and CEO Martin Lind in a press release. “We all have an incredible indebtedness to this man for his tenure here and I’m so happy for Chris to enjoy some well-deserved time off.”

ST. PAUL -- Head Coach Dean Evason, captain Jared Spurgeon, Zach Parise, Matt Dumba, Kevin Fiala and every player on the Minnesota Wild will be represented in the stands of Herb Brooks Arena when the 2019 Isobel Cup champions, the Minnesota Whitecaps, battle in the upcoming NWHL bubble season in Lake Placid.
In the spirit of #OneMN and in the latest example of their continued support of the State of Hockey's NWHL team, the Minnesota Wild organization has purchased 24 Fan Face Cut-outs. Showing the Wild's thoughtful commitment to hockey as a game for everyone, the Wild will have their 23 players and Coach Evason sign their Fan Faces and auction them after the NWHL season. The proceeds from the auction will provide scholarships for an all-girls Little Wild Learn to Play Program in the fall of 2021.

A look back at the top gambling stories from around the world in 2020.
Around the world, 2020 was without question the most frustrating year for gambling in recent times. When the year started it appeared that the industry was set for huge advances, especially in Germany, Macau and Japan. But that all came crashing down, thanks to COVID-19. Instead the industry went through one of the most difficult years it ever faced. Instead of talking about growth and new markets, the most talked about topic was simply survival. Thus, the common theme in most of the top stories of 2020 will be related to the Coronavirus.
