Capital Region restaurants that closed in 2020 The Blue Hen at Adelphi Hotel, Saratoga Springs We learned in November that the Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs closed its fine-dining restaurant, The Blue Hen, replacing it with an expansion of the hotel’s more casual offering, Morrissey’s Lounge. Brazilian Steak House, Colonie The quick-serve concept, featuring rotisserie meats, about 20 hot sides, salad bar and other food items that opened in 2019 in the home of the former Truman s Restaurant closed this year. closed Bumpy s Polar Freeze, Schenectady The ice cream stand closed down after a year in which its last operator was accused of sending racist texts, mistreating employees and violating health codes.
