The last 12 US and Canadian missionaries kidnapped this October in Haiti have been released, ending an ordeal that brought global attention to the Caribbean nation's growing gang problem.
Three more of the 17 American and Canadian missionaries kidnapped in Haiti in October have been freed, their church group Christian Aid Ministries said on Monday. Twelve people remain in captivity.
