Westbound 580 through the Altamont Pass and the Livermore Valley, all the roadwork has been picked up. The connector ramps reopened. And the drive time is not started to change to slow yet so it is still nice and light, 14 minutes between the Altamont Pass and the dublin interchange. Same thing up and down the nimitz. There was some roadwork in berkeley on westbound 80. It looks like that should have been picked up now that were past 5 00, as well....

Thats what were hearing preliminarily from the fire department. No comment yet from the contractor or the developer. As for what comes next, were told that they are going to try to take it down about 4 floors, to try to save the project. They want to have it back up and running.
