CROWN POINT â A Lake Criminal Court judge sentenced a man Wednesday to 55 years in prison for killing his former girlfriend's 5-year-old son. Michael J. Tunstall, 27, of Knox, maintained his innocence during his sentencing hearing, but Judge Salvador Vasquez told him, "We honor jury verdicts."
