The Curtis Laws Wilson Library at Missouri University of Science and Technology will host “The Memory Project: Connecting Art and History” on Oct. 1 as part of the event series
A national traveling exhibit, sponsored by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. & the American Library Association, selected Amarillo as one of 25 public library sites across the nation for this extensive look at how Americans responded to the the rise of Nazism, war, and genocide in Europe during the 1930s & 40s. Americans and the Holocaust opens this Saturday at the downtown branch of the Amarillo Public Library (413 SE 4th Ave.). Hear my full interview with Cynthia Hunt about this exceptional project.
