DARIEN, CT A Special Election will be held in Darien and Stamford on March 2 for the purpose of filling the state Senate seat of Carlo Leone, a Democrat who resigned last month to take a position in the administration of Gov. Ned Lamont. Leone represented the 27th District, which encompasses portions of the two communities.
Polls for the residents of the 27th District will open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on March 2, but there will not be Election Day Registration for this Special Election, according to Darien s Registrar of Voters. ....
