View Comments Nashville restaurants are teaming up with a national campaign to fight anti-Asian racism during Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Seven restaurants will donate a portion of sales in May to Asian Americans Advancing Justice, a national coalition that provides legal and educational support to Asian American communities. The nationwide Dough Something campaign kicked off in April with participating restaurants in cities such as Chicago and St. Louis. Nashville s campaign runs through May 31 and includes members of the restaurant advocacy group Tennessee Action for Hospitality. The hospitality industry has always been an ally in the fight for social change, and the recent uptick in violence against the AAPI community is more than troubling, said Tennessee Action for Hospitality president and Nicky s Coal Fired co-owner Caroline Galzin. ....
