A Northeast Side teen who was fatally shot Wednesday night has been identified. Columbus police said 17-year-old Major Harris III was mortally wounded and 18-year-old Deacon Smith, of the North Side, was also shot on the 6100 block of Deewood Loop West around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. When officers first arrived on the scene, they found evidence a shooting had taken place and that someone had been wounded, but no victim was on the scene.
