Fetterman was to show he could pass the debate threshold. that he can show that he can have a conversation, can talk about the issues. there s a lot of voters concerned about that, the cbs news poll, 46% of voters have concerns about his health. the campaign tried to lower expectations. i don t think he hit that threshold. a lot of answers that were shaky. there was questions about whether he understood the questions. you know, his health is the big issue looming large in this very close senate campaign. democrats it wasn t republicans. it was democrats i talked to, members of congress, officials that are supporting john fetterman that said he should have not debated last night. it hurt him. martha: there was a lot of discussion about the people around him and what they ve been doing and why they allowed this to happen last night. sandra: it s the elephant in the room. i mean, think they thought he could do one debate. ....
