Medicare or overhauling the medicare government at the state level. that boosts the deficit up by a number by a lot of money. john yeah. let me interrupt you there. i understand you are pessimistic when it comes to the idea of health care reform. let me back up for a second. you where this book defining conservatism. when you talk about politics and conservatism, how did you get so conservative? did you grow up this way? it is not like you are going on decades of experience here? well, my parents didn t tell me to be a conservative. my parents didn t do that. i got involved when i was 9 years old because i wanted to know what was going on in the world around me. i wanted to know. i started hearing about a filibuster when i was 9 years old and i wanted to know what that term was and form my own opinions on issues. my parents said, if you want to ....
Go form your own opinions on that issue, you can believe what you want as long as you can defend yourself, and i did. i have to tell you looking at the book i got yesterday, it is not exactly light reading, jonathan. you are quoting 1984 george orwell, marks theory, is this what you talk about with your friends? well, you have to be careful there, just like anybody else who has a career, i talk to my friends about things otherwise besides what i simply do and going on book tours or talking about my book because, of course, i have friendses that don t want to talk about politics just like anybody in the political spectrum. i m a well-rounded person. you know you have made it when john stewart makes fun of you. he respects your passion for politics. jonathan krohn, thank you, good luck to you. thank you. the richest people in the world. we have been hearing about the list for years and years and you ....
