Ex-Hopatcong mayor Lundin fined maximum possible by NJ ethics panel

Prior to being named head of the soil conservation district in March 2009, Lundin was a longtime environmental advocate who headed the Sussex County Open Space Committee and helped spearhead preservation efforts along Lake Hopatcong. He also served on Hopatcong's school board. The state Attorney General's Office first accused him of the violations in a 17-page complaint in October 2017. Sussex County NJ commissioners switch back to in-person only meetings

New Jersey Herald NEWTON — The Sussex County Commissioners will resume in-person only meetings beginning Wednesday at the Performing Arts Center auditorium at Sussex County Community College at 6 p.m.  The county board announced the change on its website. The county is responsible to pay for the general election "in its entirety," with the local governments paying for primaries, Parrott wrote.
