The United States reported a daily record of Covid-19 deaths and Brazil s toll passed the bleak milestone of 200,000 Thursday as new surges of the coronavirus dimmed hopes for respite from the pandemic anytime soon.
Sharp rises in cases around the world have led authorities to impose a slew of new lockdowns and other restrictions, even as dozens of countries roll out the first stages of the vaccination campaigns hailed as the light at the end of the tunnel.

Slotkin, just what they ve had to face in their own districts. it s interesting. in some ways they can t win because you see these town halls and people worked up in a lather who don t want to see her vote for impeachment and some who do. here s a little moment. what was fundamentally different for me is that the president decided to do this for his own political gain and not for the national security interests of the united states. just a general dim of discontent. and you know, good for her for speaking to her constituents publicly. there are some who may disagree with her. we saw some boos as well, but it also speaks to the larger point of her coming out saying, look, i am willing to put my future career here as a congresswoman on the line to defend something that i think was inappropriate the president did, and i m standing up for saying that out loud. and given her background in national security, given her work in the cia, given her ....

Who are mainly republicans. we see this pretty much every single election cycle, this rush to the middle. as soon as we take these somewhat progressive instances early on maybe in the summertime and then there is a rush to appeal to a demographic that nt would vote democrat. and they are hearing the foot steps amidst the dim and noise of the impeachment proceedings, they are hearing the foot steps of donald trump, they are seeing the poll that says 67% of democrats are feeling uneasy about the election cycle. and they are also seeing the new york times poll that says that donald trump is testing very, very well against flothref the four potential candidates in battleground states and they are getting nervous. so they are rushing to the middle to get that white working class voter and ignoring us. ....
