SCRANTON, Pa. — Newswatch 16's Stacy Lange shared a book virtually with some students in Scranton on Friday morning.
Stacy read "One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish" to two first grade classes from John Adams Elementary in Scranton via Zoom.
The school is celebrating a virtual Read Across America Week.
Each day has a special theme, and this was "crazy sock day." There were guest readers throughout the week.
Read Across America Week takes place March 1 through March 5 this year and the theme is "Celebrating a Nation of Diverse Readers."

(CNS News) -- Six Dr. Seuss books will no longer be published because they portray people “in ways that are hurtful and wrong,” Dr. Seuss Enterprises said in a statement on Dr. Seuss’ birthday, which is today, March 2.  Seuss died in 1991 at the age of 87.
“Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’s catalog represents and supports all communities and families,” the group said in the statement.
