An 8yearold girl is in the hospital tonight, the victim of a driveby shooting that prompted oaklands police chief to address concerned neighbors. The shooting happened at 65th in east oakland, where the 8 yearold was just playing this evening. The girl is in stable condition, but will have to stay the night.
