Wind whipped debris from building on Stewart Street causing power issues

UPDATE: NV Energy reports power has been restored to all but 29 customers around Carson City. **** Debris that flew off a roof at the old Copeland lumber building on Stewart Street near the DMV and NDOT buildings in Carson City is causing some problems in the area this morning, including power loss.

Column: IRS telephone scammers target victims with threats

The IRS has warned repeatedly of a massive, sophisticated telephone scam. IRS warned of this scheme last October, then Feb. 27, 2014 and again March 20, 2014. The scam is when victims are contacted by telephone and usually told they are entitled to big refunds or that they owe money that must be paid immediately to IRS.
