there is a verdict in that wrongful death lawsuit against virginia tech. today, the jury found that the school was negligent in its response to the '07 campus shooting that left 33 people dead, specifically, the school delayed a campus warning after the first shots were fired. the verdict came after a 3 1/2-hour deliberation. the parents of two students killed in that attack filed this lawsuit. each family was award $100,000 in damages. virginia tech released a statement saying it is disappointed with today's decision. a spring convenient in the nation's capital will happen here ah...
