Through meetings, like one held Wednesday night, the Dallas community is working with police to make sure future events are safe.

The city of Dallas announced it's filing a lawsuit related to this month's concert shooting that killed one person and injured more than a dozen others. They are suing a church, which owned the property where the event was held, and the concert's promoter.
