KANSAS CITY, Mo. â UPDATE | A male subject came out of the building shortly after 11:00 p.m. Officers took him into custody.
Several people were evacuated from a Kansas City, Missouri, apartment complex Saturday night as officers were involved in a standoff with an armed, barricaded subject.
Officers responded shortly after 7 p.m. to the area of East 12th Street and Benton Boulevard on a reported cutting, where police said a victim suffering from "apparent injuries" was located and transported to an area hospital. The victim is in stable condition, according to a KCPD spokesperson.
