sunshine, pretty much across the board in scotland. it'll stay like that through throughout the afternoon. thicker cloud. further south, it's been thick enough for a spot or two of drizzle, some brightness into the afternoon in the southeast. here we'll see highs of 21 degrees and with that sunshine in aberdeenshire will see 20 as well. but as we go through the night, the cloud continues to sit with us. the breeze will pick up and drive in a few scattered showers to the north and west of scotland, maybe into northwest england as well. temperatures holding up to greeters on tuesday, but it's tuesday that we'll start to see the real change to the story. those fronts will gradually sink their way steadily south and east. there'll be a lot of cloud, a little bit of early morning brightness across east anglia and south—east england, and quite a narrow line of intense showers develop as that front sinks south — behind it, bright and breezy with some showers in scotland and a cooler feel here, 10 to 15 degrees. we mightjust see 21 if we keep some
