Offices. The Eastern Iowa Health center and Young Parents Network are cooperating on the collection and say 100 percent of donated dollars or diapers will go to those who need them. We often dont think of diapers as a necessity but it is really is and the fact its not covered by any federal program, you know no incentives or anything like that. Diapers are such a big need 80 dollars a month for a lot of people. Health has committed to purchasing 50thousand to get the program started. Organizers say those much smaller diaper drives would collect only a limited number of diapers and when those were gone, theyre gone. But with a diaper bank, the idea is to keep collections going off and on and always have enough on hand to help those who have trouble paying for this necessary infant product out of pocket. Beth .
