Federal prison in november of 2014. He is serving a 44month sentence for corruption. Cannon appeared in court wearing a suit different than the mug shot posted online. He smiled as he shook hands with his lawyer. He admitted to voting in 2014 as a felon. He was convicted of corruption then. His lawyer says cannon never tried to hide his identity he went to vote with his wife because he did not think it was illegal at that time. We spoke with a local attorney not connected with this case to get his take how things went cannon pled guilty to i aclass one misdemeanor and gave him one day in jail ...
