FALL RIVER — The old Bedford Street police station has a new owner with intentions to develop approximately 30-units of market rate housing in the more than 100-year-old structure.  Matthew Thomas, the city’s real estate attorney, confirmed that the city closed on the $10,000 sale late last month to the buyer and developer, Wethersfield LLC of Chelsea, on Jan. 25.  Marc Lederman, a principal at Wethersfield, said the city has been helpful with the sale of the old police station, and while there are some challenges with the building, his company is hopeful about the project.  “...
