Video shows how the giant metal band dades are slowing traffic and causing tieups. Estimate is 55 minutes at the height of the commute. People are not used to encountering them. They go up there and they slow sometimes to a stop. I came across the bridge around 6 30 and it was backed up all the way through the maze. Reporter despite warning signs, cal trans says drivers can ride over the plates at up to 50 miles an hour, the current speed limit, without damaging their cars. Its a hazard.
