WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Boeing Co on Wednesday won approval from U.S. regulators for a fix of an electrical grounding issue that had affected about 100 737 MAX airplanes, clearing the way for their quick return to service after flights were halted in early April, the planemaker said. An FAA official confirmed that the agency had approved the service bulletins and associated instructions. Boeing sent two bulletins to air carriers on Wednesday on the fixes.

Sure that they fit in with the federal requirement. what's the problem here? >> well, i think that mark is overstating that a bit. actually, the 2010 regulations that came out didn't actually specifically state that you had to have a permanent pool lift. that only came out in january in some guidance, and so what we're saying is that, really, this is all about requiring a permanent versus a portable lift. and we just think the industry makes, it makes more sense and it's safer to have a portable lift that can be shared between pools, it doesn't cause injury, you don't leave out overnight for t...
