Days this is simply the fastest increase. California has seen since the beginning of this pandemic. The move today forces businesses in most california counties to either further limit indoor capacity take business outside or shut down altogether by tomorrow night so here locally all 9 bay area counties are either in the purple or red tears on the states covid and san Mateo San Francisco counties have increased as well but theyre not in that worst purple tier. Theyre now just a stalled out in the red tier, sonoma napa contra costa alameda and santa clara counties are in the most restrictive widespread. Purple state here. Sonoma county was the only county to not move today because it was already in that purple tier alameda napa and santa clara counties actually moved to tears from orange to purple due to rising cases and hospitalizations and they bypassed orange here and theresa is where we go next.
