SOUTH BEND — In the first week of April of last year, South Bend police responded to one shooting. Police ID Saturday shooting victims at Acropolis Steakhouse UPDATE: Two men were killed as the surge in gun violence continued over the weekend. Shootings continued to climb in Portland over the weekend, with a second person dying from a Saturday incident in Southeast Portland and police responding to at least four shootings in different neighborhoods on Sunday. The victims are identified as William Peters, 40, of Portland, and Adam David-Lawrence Arrambide, 36, of La Pine. No suspect information has been released.
