Killed in a plane crash. As Darcy Spencer tells us, the teenage pilot was alone in that plane. Yes. Thats whats unusual about this crash. The pilots age. He was just 16 years old, flying solo when he crashed this morning. He was a student pilot. It happened in a field just east of the Orange County airport about 100 mile from washington. Virginia state police were called to the crash site about 9 45 this morning. The teenager is identified as ryan mccall of spotsylvania. He was found in the wreckage of a single engine piper.
