Keller campaign files second ethics complaint against Gonzales camp
Copyright © 2021 Albuquerque Journal For the second time this month, Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller’s reelection campaign is accusing his opponent of committing fraud in pursuit of public financing. The newest ethics complaint alleges Bernalillo County Sheriff Manuel Gonzales’ mayoral campaign forged voter signatures on paperwork submitted to the City Clerk to demonstrate the sheriff had sufficient citizen support to get public financing. Gonzales’ campaign, meanwhile, says the complaint is a “desperate” attempt to overblow “innocent administrative mistakes made by volunteers.” ....
