Well, redoshi was a west african born women who very sadly was kidnapped in 1860 and is believed to be the last as far as we can tell, the last survivor of the transatlantic slave trade. Its believed that she was yoruba, she was kidnapped in a slave raid. Possibly as young as 12 years old and she was taken.
