Rep. Bennie Thompson proposed a bill, likely aimed at Trump, that would take away Secret Service protection from convicted felons sentenced to prison.
House Democrats are looking strip Secret Service protection from former President Trump should he be convicted of a felony, according to a new bill dubbed the DISGRACE Act.
The former president faces 91 separate felony charges in federal and state courts ranging from the alleged payment of hush money to an adult film actress to election interference and the possession of classified documents. If convicted on all counts, he could spend the rest of his life in jail. The GOP frontrunner says the charges are political.
