SNL alum Chris Redd has been seen smiling for the first time since he was assaulted by a man with a 'brass knuckle duster' in Greenwich Village - as he says he is 'ok and healing fast'.
Dramatic surveillance footage shows the moment SNL comedian Chris Redd was floored in New York by a sucker punch which 'split' his nose and sprayed blood across the sidewalk.
Redd seemed to be in shock as people from the club tried to stop the bleeding, according to a witness.
Police say as the comedian got out of his car Wednesday night, he was punched in the face by a man.
Redd was brutally attacked in front of Manhattan's Comedy Cellar, where he was set to perform.
