ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) Fehmida Mirza on Thursday pointed out that the Centre had transferred trillions of rupees to the federating units in the aftermath of 7th NFC Award during the last one decade but the provinces had failed to discharge their constitutional obligations.
She raised questions about who was responsible for the wasteful expenditures as the NFC bound them to utilize 10 percent resources to bring the less-developed areas at par with the developed areas but District Badin was still getting contaminated water in the 21st Century.

LAHORE:Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the resignation drama has been badly failed and the politics of welfare would prevail. Every conspiracy against the PTI s mandate has been foiled.

The chief minister issued instructions and dilated upon proposals to early resolve the problems. Talking on the occasion, the CM said a comprehensive strategy had been devised to solve the constituencies problems and added that development schemes would be implemented with consultations. The Hindu newspaper has reported many details about the two Sri Lankans who were recently arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau of India with 100 kilos of heroin.

Nawas and Mohamed Afnas has now been arrested by the Indian Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for alleged role in an international drug trafficking racket.
