Christner, Haegele honored by Rotary The Telegraph FacebookTwitterEmail 5of5 ALTON — Alyson Haegele and Bryce Christner of Alton High School have been named the Students of the Month for April by the Alton Godfrey Rotary Club. Haegele, the daughter of Scott and Holly Haegele of Godfrey, is a member of the Alton High School National Honor Society. She currently has a 4.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, which places her in the top 10 percent of the senior class. She has been enrolled in several honors and dual credit classes during her time at AHS. She is the starting pitcher for the softball team and was a cheerleader for the football season during her junior and senior seasons. As a freshman, she also played volleyball. Additionally, she has been a member of the Biology Club, the Physics Club and the Spanish Club.

Stephen and Melissa Turner of Easley, S.C., where they were the youth pastoral team, officially were installed. The Turners have worked with youth for more than 10 years. Melissa is a mental health professional. The Turners come to Faith Fellowship following the untimely death of pastor Jonathan Mitchell, who died following complications from COVID-19. MARRIAGE SEMINAR: The Greater Apostolic Faith Church in Warren, under the leadership of Bishop James Tyson, will hold its first Marriage Seminar 5:30 p.m. May 1

Age 80, of Branch in Lake County, formerly of Ludington, Lansing and Owosso, and Beaver Dam, Kentucky, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2020, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
