Among the next generation of young European royals, Spain's Princess Leonor has seen her popularity soar as she turns 18.
This morning, the young royal - whose formal title is Princess of Astorias - swore allegiance to the Spanish constitution at the Lower House in Madrid.
This is the second time the former monarch has visited Spain since he moved to the Middle East amid scandalous affairs and criminal accusations.
There was, however, no lunch with King Charles III during a whirlwind visit to the British capital for Juan Carlos -- although it was rumored the distant cousins might meet, since the former Spanish monarch won’t be attending Charles and Camilla’s coronation in May.
