our aeroplane contrails. the water that aeroplanes check out the back makes controls. sometimes when there is a lot of moisture in the atmosphere, seven miles up in the sky, where the aeroplanes fly, they can persist for many, many hours, going the spectacular sunrise and sunset pictures. you get a sense of these contrails starting to work away, these lines of cloud you can see on the satellite picture. and they are, because we are starting to get drier air moving in across england, seven miles up in the atmosphere. you are less likely to see those contrails hanging around quite as long. weather wise today we have a bit of patchy cloud across south west scotland and northern ireland, may be an odd light shower. otherwise, the vast majority of the uk having dry weather with plenty of sunshine stop the sunshine, of course, is stronger this time of year. we have high levels of uv. the temperatures are widely reaching the high teens or low 20s. probably peaking at 23 celsiu ....
