Steve happening now. Major problems for bart in the east bay appear to be over. Trains are now going to the pittsburg bay point station. Bart says theres some sort of problem with the tracks between North Concord and pittsburg bay point. Bart says it is working on pinpointing the problem and getting it fixed. Since late this afternoon. Shuttle trains were taking passengers between the two stations. We just got off the phone with bart. They say the Shuttle Service has stopped. They are now testing out regular trains awith passengers. But they are not yet confident the problem has been solved. These aerials courtesy of our partnership with abc 7 news. A similar track problem happened in the same area last year. A propulsion problem knocked out power to 50 trains. This is video from that incident. It took bart several weeks before trains were running between those two stations. ....
