Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago, has said his administration will sustain the Free Basic Education policy in the state, especially for girls. He stated this at the 22nd graduation, speech and prize-giving ceremony of El-Amin International School, Abuja, where his son, Marwan, graduated, at the weekend.

In support of inclusive education, President Rodrigo Duterte has signed into law a measure requiring schools nationwide to provide free basic education and related services to learners with disabilities.
