The Sea Tow Foundation — the nonprofit founded in 2007 by Sea Tow founder Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer — has opened the nomination process for membership to its North American Sober Skipper Advisory Council.
Sea Tow Foundation executive director Gail R. Kulp
said in a statement that council members have provided highly valuable insight regarding best practices and safety initiatives in recreational boating.
“The North American Sober Skipper Advisory Council has worked tirelessly to successfully raise awareness of boating safety,” said Kulp. “Their active engagement in promoting boating safety within their respective organizations while actively supporting other national initiatives has positively impacted and boosted awareness of boating safety efforts.”
