it s a journey, isn t it? laughter. i wouldn t say i m back to where i would want to be, and i thought that i would be back by now. but, again, i think it s one of those things that is so unknown, like, you don t know how your body is going to react. and i didn t know how my body was going to react with having a disability, as well. some feel they ve become even better athletes. so i m actually faster than i was before. really?! amazing! i ve actually pb d all my lifts and most of my tests this year. i certainly came to respect myself in ways where i probably wouldn t have before. so what s the one area they think needs even more focus?
