MAUI (Island News)-- Text messages show Herman Andaya constantly engaged on August 8th with Maui County's incident response. Texts between Andaya and MEMA's secretary started the night before.

The tourism industry on Maui has launched a several-million dollar campaign to bring people back to the island in the wake of the devastating fire.
