Music legends Guy Clark, Susanna Clark, Townes Van Zandt in focus in 'Without Getting Killed or Caught'
Tamara Saviano was 14 when her stepfather's friend brought Guy Clark's first album "Old No. 1" to their St. Francis home. It was a life-changing first listen that led to a lifelong devotion to folk music. "I was reading the liner notes that were printed on the white sleeve, and I was so taken in by the lyrics," Saviano said of that Clark album, during a Zoom interview from her Nashville home. "I was always a bookworm, and the first thing that struck me was that (the songs) sounded like stories." For the past two decades, Saviano has been telling Clark's story.
