The left turn when it struck the pedestrian. The man ended up under the bus. Witnesses say joggers got the drivers attention so he would stop. He apparently he did not know he had hit the man. Firefighters arrive and began the process of lifting the bus off the victim using hydraulics and wooden blocks. That took about 20 minutes. And the man was freed. A witness described for us what he saw. He hit the man. He went down. And then the man as he was turning, then the man was on the ground so he was under the bus. But he was right in front of the back left wheel so he didnt run over him, it didnt look like. He just hit him. But he was an elderly man moving really slow. Sam and again, we are told that the man left here conscious. He left here in an ambulance. Elderly man, perhaps. Campbells vehicles. Investigators believe the campbells killed the faulkners and then set their North Carolina home on fire. This is West Virginia police had not stopped them this crime spree would have continued on. Police said the injured officers were both wearing body armor and their injuries are not life threatening.
